Mother Teresa was a Catholic nun of Albanian ethnicity who was naturalized as an Indian, founder of the congregation of the Missionaries of Charity in India, whose objective is service and support for the poorest and neediest. In 2015, the congregation she founded had more than 5,000 members in 139 countries.
