Casa da Moeda marks 500 years of Correio in Portugal with a commemorative collectible coin signed by Luiz Duran, former Art Director at CTT and author of hundreds of postage stamps. The obverse of this coin features the iconic Mala Posta, a horse-drawn carriage that, from the mid-19th century, began regularly transporting passengers and mail between Lisbon and Porto.
