2024 Velázquez 'Vulcano' 1oz - 10€ Spain Proof

On the occasion of the celebration of Diego Velázquez's 425th birthday, the Royal Mint of Spain dedicates a collection of commemorative 1oz silver coins to the Spanish painter.

On the obverse is a reproduction of the work entitled 'Forge of Vulcan', painted by Diego Velázquez in 1630, which is located in the Museo Nacional del Prado, in Madrid.

On the reverse is a reproduction of the monument to Diego Velázquez by the Sevillian sculptor Antonio Susillo, which is located in the Plaza del Duque de la Victoria, in Seville.
