2025 Michelangelo - 2€ San Marino Coincard

€2 commemorative coin from San Marino, dedicated to the 550th anniversary of Michelangelo's birth.

The Renaissance genius was forged in the workshop of Maestro Ghirlandaio. The obverse, designed by artist Silvia Petrassi, features in the center the work "Cleopatra," preserved in the Casa Buonarroti in Florence. This magnificent pencil drawing, created in 1535, is considered a rare example of the most intimate and delicate side of Michelangelo's work.
